Thanks to generous contributions from people like you, the Rotary Club of Manhattan Beach was able to support a significant number of charitable projects at home and abroad last year. Our members are involved in many “Service Above Self” projects outside of the few examples mentioned here:

Provided clean water, solar and sanitation for schools in Mali, Africa
Awarded over $43,000 in scholarships to Mira Costa and El Camino Students
Continue to establish Casa Hogar Orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico and installed solar systems for self-sustainability

Maintained 40-year commitment to deliver Meals on Wheels twice a week to local homebound residents
Provided over 400 low income students at Moffett Elementary School in Lennox with vision testing and glasses in partnership with Vision to Learn
Packaged 10,000 meals to feed the hungry worldwide with Stop Hunger Now

Rotary International is within 1% of eradicating Polio worldwide
Leveraged $3,000 to provide hundreds of micro loans, providing seed money for entrepreneurs in developing regions. >95% re-payment rate, >98% woman-owned.
